I have tooth pain in my front bottom tooth when I eat or drink. Some of my other teeth in the back have been that way since TLJC when they said I had cavities. Husband said I most likely can’t get fillings while pregnant, which makes sense.
And they’d probably want to x-ray before doing that anyway, which I know I can’t do while pregnant. I know it’s just something I probably need to look into after the baby is born. I think I can still get free or cheap cleaning and an x-ray at the college, but husband’s dental insurance might pay for a cleaning and an x-ray and then I could get an estimate on the cost of whatever work I might need.
Husband said they do a “new age x ray” but I’m not sure what that’s supposed to mean. Unfortunately, neither the college nor husband’s insurance would be able to provide me with an affordable way to fix what needs to be fixed.
When husband had to have emergency dental surgery last year, we got a medical credit card with a ridiculously high interest rate, but we still had to pay out of pocket to cover the difference. We paid the card off, but I would prefer to not have to use it again.
My own wisdom teeth are growing in sideways. They cut through a little bit and cause mouth sores, and then they stop trying to grow for a while. I still have fillings on the right bottom side of my mouth from when I was in TLJC. They knew about the wisdom teeth and some other cavities in the back, but never got around to fixing any of it. I’m wondering how long I can put this stuff off before, I too, need emergency dental work.
Don Gardner–All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth, my two front teeth, see my two front teeth. Gee, if I could only have my two front teeth, then I could wish you “Merry Christmas.”
